  1. Shapiro doesn’t realize that most alleged scandals often snowball because of small media reporting… and any corresponding clumsy cover-ups are gasoline for the fire. His second “Anything else” seems to indicate to me maybe he has zero curiosity to look into it, nor provide any sunshine as to the facts of the matter.
The Monica Lewinsky Scandal (1998) – Major networks (NBC, ABC, etc.) quickly cited the Drudge Report’s scoop and Newsweek’s reporting while questioning Clinton aides and legal counsel in the hours that followed.
The Edward Snowden NSA Leaks (2013) – CNN, NBC, and others referred to The Guardian’s reporting in both interviews and panel discussions when pressing U.S. officials and intelligence community members.
Harvey Weinstein Sexual Abuse Allegations (2017) – TV anchors and journalists directly referenced the original reports when confronting Hollywood figures and politicians.

  2. Since you’re so concerned about withholding data (and definitely not just shilling more politically motivated hit pieces lol), I can’t wait to read your piece on Hegseth’s deleted Signal messages to his family and journalists that put the lives of our bravest men and women at risk (“suPpORT thE TRoOPS” right?) and the one you’ll surely write about the classified documents Trump illegally had hidden instead of returning them when prompted. (Even though every other federal official including Obama and Biden returned docs when brought to their attention.) The media really has degenerated into pure propaganda and spin.
