Guy Ciarrocchi: Thank you again, Democrats

They just can’t help themselves. It’s a tragedy and, in some ways, a blessing.

For all the talk about the speed President Donald Trump is moving and the countless problems he’s trying to fix, almost all Democrats are moving just as fast and working just as hard at blocking him, screaming about him — often with paid protestors — or rushing off to find left-wing judges to try to block him.

It’s not hard to identify the two parties.

Today, the differences between the two parties are no longer merely over policy — e.g., how much to spend. The reality is that today, the great divide is over values and priorities e.g., should our border be secured or not; is it best to fight crime by chasing down and prosecuting criminals, or “understanding” and protecting the rights of criminals.

Because the differences are so stark and the divide is so great; for better or worse, it’s easy to tell the parties apart. It’s easy for voters to choose: Whose values and priorities align with yours?

As I wrote weeks ago: thank you, Democrats — again. Since you won’t partner with Republicans to fix the messes you made and the concerns we talk about at our kitchen tables, or to offer your own plans, you’ve helped us recognize who’s not on our side. So, thank you.

From securing the border to removing convicted criminals and known terrorists, from ending payments to social security recipients over the age of 200 to ending aid to colleges — in Australia! — from reinstating the actual meaning of Title IX protecting women’s sports to ending unlawful discrimination on our campuses, and from reducing the size of the IRS to winding-down the $3 trillion failed experiment known as the U.S. Department of Education, Trump has been working to fulfill his campaign promises.

The contrast is clear.

Almost every Democrat has not only voted “no,” many have rushed to protests or courts to block Trump and his team, holding almost daily shouting sessions masquerading as press conferences, and then either disrupting genuine town halls or holding angry, partisan rallies masquerading as “town halls” — one recently receiving the wrath of the local clergyman in Allentown tricked into hosting one.

Trump worked with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Homeland Security, and ICE to find convicted criminals and terrorists hiding in our community — or, worse, terrorizing Americans, as they were in Colorado. They found a leader of the terrorist cartel Tren De Aragua and planned to deport him.

The Democrats didn’t applaud this; they didn’t pledge to support efforts to find the others. Nope. They went to court to argue that the cartel leaders aren’t allowed to be deported.

There are violent protests happening across our nation’s campuses, especially targeting elite universities with significant Jewish student populations, dorms and organizations. Often the protests include blocking or taking over buildings and threatening students, waving Hamas banners and burning American or Israeli flags.

Secretary Rubio directs that one organizer have his “green card revoked and be deported”  — someone openly organizing the violent demonstrations at Columbia University.

Democrats didn’t support this — not surprising, since some appeared at similar events or have spoken out to defend those demonstrations. Instead, they went to court to argue that this “guest” in our nation should not be deported.

Since its creation in 1978, taxpayers have spent $3 trillion on the U.S. Department of Education. Using its own data, here are the facts. Student test scores are lower. The gap between poor students and others is even greater. And college students are exponentially deeper in debt.

The experiment of the U.S. Department of Education has failed. Honoring a campaign pledge, Trump is dismantling it to save money — and to help student achievement by giving more money to states, local districts, and parents. He wants the focus on education, not bureaucracy.

Again, the Democrats rush to the microphones and to courts. They’re outraged and won’t stand for it.

No outrage over the falling test scores. No concern that poor and minority students are falling even further behind. No protests over the bloated bureaucracy and wasted trillions of our tax dollars. And, no alternative is offered, just the same old, same old: send more money! Otherwise they’ll be chaos!

More anger and rage. Like we saw in our cities in the summers of 2020 and 2021, with burning buildings and cop cars. Like we’ve seen since October 7, 2023, on college campuses and too many cities: blocked buildings, burning flags and threats to Jewish students, Israel, and America.

Now we have the fire-bombing of Tesla dealerships. The destruction of Tesla charging stations. And countless, unprovoked acts of keying, defacing, or spray-painting swastikas on Teslas. Organized “protests” to allegedly express opposition to Elon Musk’s DOGE leadership role.

This is orchestrated, purposeful, and is happening repeatedly, with attackers often posting their attacks on social media. The response from Democrats: silence at best or occasional references to taking it to the streets, etc.

Then, despite America’s wish that we’d never hear from him again, Minnesota’s Tim Walz actually gave a speech and said he “gets a little boost” from watching Tesla stock fall.  He’s not only economically ignorant: he’s morally bankrupt.

Suing to return a Venezuelan gang leader in America.

Fighting to keep a pro-Hamas, anti-Semite “leader” in America.

Protesting to protect a failed education bureaucracy.

And “getting a boost” from watching an American manufacturer lose money.

It’s a battle to fix what Biden, Harris, and their handlers broke. Thank you, again, Democrats for showing us you’re not on our side.

  1. “often with paid protestors” – You claimed this in your last column, I am still waiting for proof that does not include, “Google it”.

“masquerading as press conferences, and then either disrupting genuine town halls or holding angry, partisan rallies masquerading as “town halls” – The reason there are alternative town halls is because Republicans are refusing to hold them. When they do they never answer any of the questions being asked.

“It’s a battle to fix what Biden, Harris, and their handlers broke.” – I’m more concerned with the Middle East Envoy who is a real estate developer got duped by Hamas. As well as how Pete Hegseth used a publically available app to plan and execute military strikes.

Rushing off to find left-wing judges to try to block him.” Other Presidents have reduced the budget and the number of employees without breaking the law. If Trump did the same this would not be a problem.

“Trump worked with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Homeland Security, and ICE to find convicted criminals and terrorists hiding in our community ” Prove it. Trump has refused to release the names or the evidence that support his claims.

“There are violent protests happening across our nation’s campuses, especially targeting elite universities with significant Jewish student populations, dorms and organizations. ” Those protests are no longer happening . How should American Jews react to an American President who stated the Jews who do not vote Republican are disloyal, hate Israel and their faith, and if he lost the election Jews would be responsible.

    1. Chuck Schumer publicly ADMITS that they send their operatives to disrupt Republican Town Hall meetings. Would you like me to post a link for you? You probably won’t see it discussed on the leftist sites that you get your news from. If I was a politician and had to put up with foaming-at-the-mouth, TDS infected mental cases, I’d cancel the town hall also. Or maybe do like the democrats do at their pity party gatherings: PRESENT ID AND SCAN IT IN. That’ll keep out the riff raff.

      1. “Chuck Schumer publicly ADMITS that they send their operatives to disrupt Republican Town Hall meetings. Would you like me to post a link for you?” – Feel free to post the link.

  2. How about an indebt article on paid protesters on both sides of the of the aisle. Grass roots is one thing, but organized destruction in another, and mascurating as “home grown or organic” should be called out, documented, and exposed to all, by all media outlets.

    1. At no time did any of the Republicans present actual evidence of paid protesters.

As stated in the video, it is not illegal to send Democrats to Republican town halls. I have no doubt that Republicans have done the same.

Republicans are claiming that democratic attendees are arriving two hours early and filling up all the seats. What is stopping them from asking Republican attendees to arrive three hours earlier?

As for your claims about Soros, you do realize that the Koch brothers and Elon Musk are doing the same thing. George Soros is a Holocaust survivor, he is making every effort to make sure this does not happen again.

      1. Tell me – where are all the news stories and TV footage of republicans disrupting democrat town halls and districts? Your Holocaust survivor that you support isn’t the righteous hero you make him out as. From the Jerusalem Post: During the Holocaust, in an intensely antisemitic, fascist, murderous and Nazi-allied Hungary in 1944, Soros was a teenager. He went with a non-Jewish friend of his father to inventory the contents of Jewish homes in preparation for confiscation of belongings. Much later in America, Soros was blamed for this anti-Jewish act and expressed no shame or regret. He stated that if he didn’t participate in the inventories, someone else would have, hence there was no need to feel bad about it. By his insensitive logic, German, Japanese, and Russian soldiers could also have exclaimed that they don’t need to regret raping women, since if they didn’t, then someone else would have. When the inventory incident was revealed on an American radio or TV show, an American Jewish organization was quick to term it an antisemitic attack on Soros. I doubt that any reasonable Jew would agree with this characterization, especially those who had firsthand experience with that evil social disease. According to Soros, he comes from a Jewish antisemitic home, which is, of course, not his fault. He recalls Nazi-infested 1944 Budapest as thrilling, where he says he had the best year of his life, full of adventure and a game of cops and robbers while hiding from the Nazis and their supporters. Sound to me that you’re confusing financial support of a political party with financial support of creating mayhem and violence.

        1. “Tell me – where are all the news stories and TV footage of republicans disrupting democrat town halls and districts?” – Like the disruptions that occured when Obama was in office.

As for Soros, just like you can’t provide proof of paid protestors, the lies about Soros have been debunked so many times. He was a 13 year old boy who could not have understood the enormity of what was happening as was Europe and America. The house he went to, the residents had been removed days ago, the man he was with was Hungarian official who was protecting his Jewish wife and the Soros family. It in no way compares to the crimes against humanity committed by Russia, Japan, and Germany. At least you didn’t claim that Soros served in the German army, like many have.

“I doubt that any reasonable Jew would agree with this characterization, especially those who had firsthand experience with that evil social disease.” Since you are not Jewish you have a limited understanding as to what happened, as evidenced by your lies about Soros. Soros’s single act at 13 is not a crime against humanity. Jews did whatever they could to survive, you should consider going to the Shoah Project. As for the survivors and camp liberators that I knew, the horrors of what the experienced and saw was so far out from the single act of a 13 year old boy.

  3. The ‘best years of his life’ (he said), and you have proven the validity of the story to be true by repeating his role during Nazi occupation of Hungary. Thank you. There’s nothing to be ‘debunked’, just your sorry excuse for justifying his actions. So you had to reach back to Obama for Republican activity at democrat town halls? I typed in “republicans disrupt democrat town halls’, and google asked “do you mean “democrats disrupting republican town halls?” EVEN GOOGLE KNOWS WHO THE PAID PROTESTERS ARE. Your comment in your 3rd paragraph is directed at the author of the article I quoted from the Jerusalem Post. I’m pretty sure that it is a Hungarian Jew who is the author. Obviously you didn’t understand the point he was making, or you did but chose to deflect. Typical liberal. Most kids with average intelligence at 13 now the difference between right and wrong. Maybe you didn’t and that’ why give little Georgie a pass. You are no one to tell me about my understanding and I did not lie about Soros. Save your worthless indignation for yourself.

    1. Since you are so concerned about anti-semetism I would your like your insight on what you think of the following
While campaigning for his second term Trump stated that American Jew who did not vote Republican are disloyal, hate their faith and Israel, and if he lost the election it would be the fault of American Jews.

How do you feel about a high ranking goverment employee who gave a 2 Hitler slutes in 30 sceronds at a Trump event and gave a speech at rally for AfD, a German neo-Nzi poltical party?

What are your thoughts. on the Secretary of Defense who is a Christian Nationalist, who wants to make America a Christian nation. At the expense of anyone, especially Jews, who do not agree with this?

  4. “The ‘best years of his life’ (he said), and you have proven the validity of the story to be true by repeating his role during Nazi occupation of Hungary.” He was hiding from the Nazi’s in plain site with paperwork that said he was a Christian. There was one incident, he was 13 years old, he had nothing to do with having the family removed and they were gone after he arrived.

“So you had to reach back to Obama for Republican activity at democrat town halls? ” – You asked a question, you got an answer. Anything after that is your problem. How about this? – https://www.instagram.com/cnn/reel/C2eEbLNOuSL/

“EVEN GOOGLE KNOWS WHO THE PAID PROTESTERS ARE.” – If you had actual proof you would have posted by now and been a MAGA hero. No one has provided proof, especially from Republican elected officials who make this claim.

“Most kids with average intelligence at 13 now the difference between right and wrong.?” A lot of adults had no idea what was going on at the time, this was a child who was trying to make sure he didn’t get sent to death camp. He would still have to go along with this to avoid being executed.

“Your comment in your 3rd paragraph is directed at the author of the article I quoted from the Jerusalem Post.” – Please provider the link.

  5. You’re playing pigeon chess again. Your hero Soros is a fraud and financier of mayhem, and you probably work for him. Democrats for years have been financed by him and have not supported Israel. Biden tied their hands in getting the hostages, wiping Hamas off the planet and allowed the college campus protests against Jews. You support that. Trump stopped that. You’re as bad as Soros.

    1. How are American Jews supposed to react to Elon Musk’s grandfather, Joshua Haldeman, was an open supporter of the Nazi’s and aparthied? The college protests are over and ended before Trump was elected. Trump and the people who work for him have made repeated antsmentic comments and threats. Should we be be concerned about them?

      1. Only in your warped mind. State the people and the antisemitic comments made by Trump’s people. Musk’s grandfather? Really? It must be tough for you to realize that Trump has done more for Jews that anyone in the democratic party, including Roosevelt – and that party is supported by your boss. You should writ Trump a thankyou letter.
