Guy Ciarrocchi: The Media’s Mary Poppins – Kamala Harris
Similar to Mary Poppins, Kamala Harris apparently just blew into town to make all our problems go away. Problems she apparently inherited, presumably created by others. She has no history, no references. But, no worries, she promises to make everything better — in 2025. She’s just magic! And, “joyful”— we’ll come back to that.
The media is welcoming this “brand new candidate” to the stage. They can’t wait to “learn” about her ideas — and to share them with us.
Time magazine’s cover story: “Her moment.” Harris didn’t agree to be interviewed for that gushing, love-story dedicated to her which is both ironic and tragic.
CBS News: “Vice President Kamala Harris is rolling out a new policy position, saying she’ll fight to end taxes on tips…” What a novel idea.
CNBC: “Kamala Harris has the opportunity right now to define her economic policies.” We are supposed to believe that her policies are different from Biden’s, despite helping him craft, sell, and defend those ideas up until a week ago.
ABC News, Jonathan Karl: “She [Harris] wasn’t the Border Czar.” Pay no attention to what the President or Harris’s handlers had said. Heck, pay no attention to what Jonathan Karl had said on his own show prior to this very week.
Playing the media’s role of Mary Poppins, Harris gets to be “unburdened by what has been.”
Worse, the legacy media is fully committed to be “on brand” for this “new” candidate. They are dutiful mouthpieces for the Harris and Walz team. Everyone got their marching orders and went to work. Two themes: “joy,” the Harris/Walz campaign brings it; and, “folksy,” (allegedly) describing Minnesota’s Governor and would-be Vice President.
Here are some “joyful” headlines.
AP News: “Harris is pushing joy. Trump paints a darker picture.”
New York Times: “Joy is fueling her campaign.”
ABC News: “Harris and Walz say they’re joyful warriors.”
PBS: “Harris is campaigning on joy…”
MSNBC: “‘Joyful warriors’: VP Harris tries to counter Trump campaign…”
USA Today: “How the joyful warrior [Walz] teamed-up with Kamala Harris”
And now, our “folksy” happy warrior, Tim Walz:
WSJ: “Tim Walz brings folksy demeanor…”
NPR: “What Tim Walz’s folksy fashion sense says”
Politico: “Walz leans into folksy ‘dad’ image”
The Washington Post: “Tim Walz’s folksy charm…”
Bloomberg News: “Tim Walz’s ‘folksy’ appeal…”
You would find it very difficult to discover that Walz allowed small businesses to burn for three days during the riots of 2020; signed legislation mandating tampons in boys bathrooms; and made Minnesota a “safe space” for minors seeking to have life altering “transformation” surgery. Gee golly whiz, isn’t that “folksy?”
Maybe the press is cooperating because Governor Walz has repeatedly said that the first amendment is not absolute and that “misinformation” can be silenced. “Yes sir, ‘Governor folksy,’ sir.”
With the mainstream media working so hard to stay “on brand,” it’s hard to tell them apart from the Harris/Walz campaign.
Yet, the real outrage is that the legacy media is treating her like Mary Poppins. They’re just so glad she’s here to save us — from Trump and Biden. They are happy to help her to be “unburdened by what has been.” On second thought, if not Mary Poppins, maybe her campaign is Seinfeld? It’s a campaign about … nothing.
Poppins (Harris) hasn’t done a single interview. Not one press conference. Not one town hall. She doesn’t have one policy position on her webpage.
Television ads talk about her “tough” plans to close the border — in 2025. No media questions about the millions — a population the size of Pennsylvania — that have already come over the border under her watch. As Senator Fetterman said, “they’re letting in a new Pittsburgh every month.” No “fact checks” on her ads.
Other ads talk about her pledge to “fight inflation” and increase home ownership “when elected.”
It’s as if inflation was a meteor that accidentally hit the United States. Inflation, higher utility and grocery bills, and the highest mortgage rates in five decades couldn’t possibly be caused by trillions and trillions in new spending from Harris’s tie-breaking vote in the Senate for the (fake) Inflation Reduction Act. No criticisms. No context. No shame.
One wonders if in Chicago for the Democrats’ convention, Joe and Mika will break out in song. “Oh it’s a jolly holiday with Kamala, Kamala makes your heart so light. When the day is gray and ordinary, Kamala makes the sun shine bright!”
This would all be amusing if it wasn’t true. A shrug of the shoulders — media bias, whatever? But, we do have real problems.
And, Harris isn’t Mary Poppins; she’s Godzilla. She caused most of the problems that she pledges to fix — not today, not in September, but…in 2025, if we just elect her. She promises, truly.
Everything voters are angry at Biden for belongs to her, his Vice President. Yet, she’s actually worse. Why?
Because she lied to us. Repeatedly. For weeks, probably months, maybe years. She talked with Biden almost daily for years. She not only told us he was fine, she angrily denounced anyone who would challenge his mental or physical fitness.
She put her personal ambition and party loyalty above our nation.
She owns the Biden/Harris record of inflation; sky high interest rates; $4 a gallon gasoline; violent and random crime in our cities; antisemitism in our cities and our campuses; the instability around the world; and the humiliating, deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan. She owns it all.
Plus, she owns one failing more than any other. Despite arguments from the media sycophants, Kamala Harris is the Border Czar. She was charged by the President to lead the effort to oversee the border and the illegal crossings. Rather than taking the initiative to visit the border, she had to be embarrassed into making the trip during a television interview.
We see her border failure in headlines every day. The hospitals, schools, and shelters that are overflowing. The random acts of violent crime taking innocent lives. Tragically, we may have not yet seen the worst. Her own Justice Department has warned that there are likely terror cells who’ve gotten over the border.
Yet, Harris has talked about amnesty and about closing the holding cell facilities. She still doesn’t get the problem. Her priorities are 180 degrees in the wrong direction, notwithstanding her ads.
The sudden flip-flops on fracking, inflation, fighting crime, and now the border and illegal immigrants. She literally could say anything and there’s no reason to believe that the legacy media would challenge it. No questions asked.
In 2023 and 2024, there was an open discussion about removing her from Biden’s ticket. She was costing him support. Earlier this year, her approval rating was as low as 37 percent. Then, magic. She’s the nominee. No more discussions of gaffes or word salads. No accountability.
She’s “arrived” to fix the problems that apparently someone else created. And, trust her, she will fix them — in 2025.
She owns this mess — inflation, violent crime, falling test scores, $4 a gallon gasoline, instability around the world, and her unsecured border. And, she lied to us about Biden.
Most Americans don’t share the media’s “joy.”

Love this.Only thing left out is the free Abortion Clinic set up outside the Convention Center by her. Too bad because while’s she’s at the spreading of “Joy” there should also have a free cat neutering clinic.
Cat neutering clinic!
Love it!
Guy, six months ago weren’t you the same one who chided me in the comment section for asking why you actually thought Biden was going to be the Democratic candidate? What have you written about below topic? Nada. Because you are complicit? Or, you are still naive?
Absolutely nothing has been done to clean up election rolls rife with dead, relocated “voters,” ineligible foreign citizens, and even illegal aliens. The Republicans in most states did not intervene, so these mass-mail ballots will be sent automatically. Then Democratic ballot traffickers will harvest, complete and submit them on behalf of “voters” to select America’s president and other leaders.
Republicans had their opportunity to compare voter rolls with property tax records and challenge fishy or phony addresses where hundreds of thousands of phantom “voters” are registered illegally. They did not do it. Because the entire system is corrupt.
Georgia (16 Electoral College votes): According to Fractal, 558,876 phantom “voters” include 114,817 tied to invalid addresses, per the Postal Service, and 68,983 who are registered, despite living permanently outside the Peach State.
In Norcross, Georgia, 65 voters were registered at Jones Recreational Vehicle Park. Although the park limits stays to two weeks, Mr. Valentine said, lodgers have “cast ballots for many, many years” — including 2020.
Georgia’s records include 1,641 people listed as age 110-plus. At least 25 share a birth date: Jan. 1, 1800. These 224-year-olds might need special care to cast their mail-in ballots.
Nevada (six electoral votes): In Washoe County (Reno) between Feb. 14 and Aug. 19, 2022, 37 voters claimed to live in public parks. This cohort nearly septupled to 248. Casino-dwelling registrants climbed from 51 to 295. Parking lot-based voters grew from 728 to 1,479.
“Our thesis is that we should not mail ballots to people in parking garages,” Mr. Valentine declared. “We don’t think that’s a hard case to make.”
North Carolina (16 electoral votes): Among 432,299 phantom “voters,” 159,520 are registered at invalid addresses and 91,264 have moved away.
Pennsylvania (19 electoral votes): Fractal identifies 1,420,435 phantom “voters” in the Keystone State. These include 323,524 rental-building residents without recorded apartment numbers. Postal workers often leave their mail-in ballots in lobbies, where they lie about, get discarded or otherwise succumb to theft and abuse. Another 346,505 are registered at invalid addresses. And 262,488 are registered in Pennsylvania despite shipping out.
Wisconsin (10 electoral votes): As of March 19, voter rolls included 22,973 men and women with the same phone number in the 262-area code. This included 225 active voters. The balance of voters is inactive — both living and dead. Among them, 11 voters registered in 1927.
“The problem is that Wisconsin keeps records with 50% of the voters on inactive status. Nobody else does anything close to that,” Mr. Valentine lamented. “They can, and do, move ‘voters’ from inactive, to active, vote them, and move them back to inactive.”
Someone needs to check out the names of “voters” that are registered to vote in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Every four years, like the Swallows of Capistrano the “Jersey Birds” fly over and return to Pennsylvania to vote in Pennsylvania Presidential Election because it is a “competitive state”. I broached this subject with former “Republican” City Commissioner Al Schmidt several times before the 2020 General Election. But seemingly no action was ever taken by him. I wonder if he will do anything about it now that he is Secretary of State for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and in charge of all of the Pennsylvania eligible voter rolls. I doubt it.

Let’s all hope it’s a ‘joyful bloodbath’! 🤣
