PA elected leaders react to Charlie Kirk assassination

Charlie Kirk, founder and chief executive officer of Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action, was assassinated on Wednesday afternoon during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah.

The 31-year-old Kirk was speaking to students from an outdoor tent when he was shot. A Utah Valley University alert said a single shot was fired.

Reaction from Pennsylvania’s elected leaders was swift.

    1. Pelosi probably issued a quick talking points memo and reminded them of the upcoming elections. Their dumbfounding audible response of disdain for a moment of silence and prayer in the rotunda tells you how they really feel. Now they’re trying to cover up. Don’t fall for it. You saw their true colors.

  1. Unfortunately, the aggregation of standardized professions of sympathy and outrage and condemnation is in full force. By now it has become easy to know what the democratic response will contain. The hypocrisy is overwhelming. What is frightening is the extent democratic politicians, republican politicians (except for a few), the media and society in general are ignoring what this murder truly is, a political assassination, designed to terrorize those with a conservative viewpoint. It was designed to frighten conservative into cowering in a corner and give up their ideology. Progressives, liberals, democrats and the legacy media have been calling for extreme measures against conservatives for years, does anyone think they suddenly got smart and truly condemns this kind of action. In many ways what is happening in today’s society is reminiscent of the anarchy and social unrest in Europe, Russia and some Latin American countries. Didn’t have a good outcome then, hopefully our outcome will be better.

    1. It will not until the legacy media offenders and the leftist politicians are made to pay dearly. You can’t be screaming Nazi, fascist, racist, white supremist, rapist, and ‘threat to democracy’ as part of your broadcast and campaign slogan and wishing death on your political opponent, like the left does constantly, and not consider that some weak minded rabid heathen lunatic bullied soy boy isn’t going to follow up on it. The time for being tolerant of this behavior is over. Conservatives need to push back against this vile language instead of shaking their had and smirking.
Voters need to decide what type of leadership that they’re going to vote for. Charlie Kirk was really good at it, and they killed him for it, and some of them are spiking the football right now. Pay attention.
