From Kyle Smith in the New York Post: media outlets rushed to publish stories on the U.S. having the “world’s highest rate of children in detention” — and then retracted them once they realized the figures were from Obama’s second term, and not Trump.

Then the two agencies retracted the story. Deleted, withdrew, demolished. If they could have used one of those Men in Black memory-zappers on us, they would have…

Zap. The story made Obama look bad. Hence the story was removed. Not updated or corrected, removed.

This sense that the media, as a whole, is more invested in picking winners and losers than in revealing truth, is the raison d’être of Broad + Liberty.
